This navigation system, developed by Abbott, enables the reconstruction of the heart’s anatomy in three-dimensional maps without the use of X-Rays, which avoids the patients’ exposure to radiation. In out Unit, we always have the most updated version of this system and its software.
This system collects information from the catheters introduced inside the patient’s heart and, through this information, creates models that reproduce the anatomy and electrical conduction through the different cardiac chambers. This facilitates smoother and more precise movement of the catheter inside the heart and, with it, better treatment of arrhythmias.
