This is a last generation system incorporated in X-Ray devices in electrophysiology labs that allows the acquisition of multiple different views of the heart with a single exposure of the patient to X-Rays. This way, we reduced the radiation dose received by the patients, and the potential risks associated.
It allows the acquisition of a volumetric anatomical image of the studied cardiac structure. Being able to perform this technique during the procedure has the advantage of being able to more reliably adjust the information obtained to the patient’s specific hemodynamic situation, as well as to the structural anomalies in cases of congenial heart disease.
