Our Arrhythmia Unit has combined its clinical daily activity with research since its first steps. We have published numerous papers on clinical and experimental research through the years. We believe that a tertiary and university healthcare centre, such as ours, must make the most out of its high number of cases to try to pass on the knowledge acquired to both its staff and the national and international medical community.
Hence, we periodically present our scientific work in multiple national and international scientific meetings, and we publish the most relevant ones in specialized medical journals. This has been possible in part thanks to the funding from multiple research grants.
